Target was looking for an interactive shopping experience designed to drive sales, promote value and establish Target.com as the ultimate destination for Toy Story 3 products. To put it all together, we partnered with Pixar, Disney, Motif, inHouse, ShopLocal, Haworth, KNOCK, and several internal teams at Target. Turns out, we were the perfect posse to get the job done.
Creativity in Motion
The return of Woody, Buzz and the rest of the beloved Toy Story gang proved to be a moving experience for everyone. By leveraging Disney-Pixar's raw animation sequences, we were able to bring unique vignettes to life to engage and entice shoppers. The familiar faces were present and prominent, guiding shoppers through the experience. Plus, for added fun, users were able to unlock special animations hidden in the navigation as they browsed.
Putting it All in Play
To generate buzz and drive guests to the boutique, we used every toy in the box. Interactive ad placement, a Target.com homepage takeover, external banner ads featuring a rich media game, internal Target.com placements, social media engagements, and placements on the Target iPhone App and Target Mobile website.
