POP is looking for a QA Engineer to partner with development and client services teams to ensure the flawless execution of high quality interactive experiences. The QA Engineer is responsible for monitoring and increasing the quality of work that POP produces. The QA Engineer will be supporting deployments and ensuring proper test coverage for existing interactive experiences.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and requirements matrices
Work directly with Software Developers, Account Managers, Technical Analysts and management to ensure the delivery of high quality applications
Assist in development and implementation of QA standards and continual process improvement activities
Perform functionality, compatibility, UI, and performance testing for e-commerce and other functional Web applications to identify bugs, drive solutions, and optimize customer experience
Required Skills
2-5 years of Software Test experience, preferably Web-based, 2+ years of experience testing on Mac, Windows, iOS and/or Android
Understanding of load testing methodologies web application best practices
Experience with automating Web UI testing using frameworks like Selenium with creation and support of automated test suites
Expertise in two or more testing tools such as JMeter, SoapUI, or Selenium
Deep understanding of Web technologies (server and browser, IE/Firefox/Safari, JSP, JavaScript and other scripting languages)
